Self Exclusion

Purpose and applicability

Betmaster provides Time-Out and Self-Exclusion options to support responsible gambling. This policy delineates how Time-Out and Self-Exclusion operate within Betmaster services and applies to all Betmaster accounts and products offered by Betmaster.

Time-Out (short break)

A Time-Out is a temporary suspension of activity on the Betmaster platform. While Time-Out is in effect, you may not deposit funds, withdraw funds, or access any Betmaster products. The duration of the Time-Out is selected in your Account Profile and the available periods may vary by product and jurisdiction.

  • Initiation: A Time-Out is initiated by the account holder through the Account Profile.
  • Revocation: A Time-Out may be revoked only after twenty‑four (24) hours have elapsed from the initial Time-Out request.
  • Activation and termination: Upon expiry, the account is automatically re-activated unless you have requested an alternative arrangement in writing with Betmaster.
  • Effect: During Time-Out you are barred from depositing, wagering, or accessing Betmaster products.

Self-Exclusion (extended period)

Self-Exclusion is Betmaster’s extended protective measure. You may request self-exclusion for a continuous period between six (6) months and five (5) years. If you do not specify a period, a default period of six (6) months will be applied.

  • Initiation: To commence self-exclusion, you must submit a request to Betmaster Customer Support by electronic mail stating your decision to pause activity on the Betmaster Website.
  • Cooling-off stage: Upon receipt of your email, your account will enter a twenty‑four (24) hour cooling-off stage during which no gambling activity is permitted and the account remains inaccessible for play.
  • Period selection: After the cooling-off stage, Betmaster will inform you of the available self-exclusion periods. You must respond by email confirming your chosen period. The offered periods are fixed; Betmaster will not accommodate non-listed durations.
  • Activation and effect: Once the period is selected and in effect, the account will be disabled and you will be unable to deposit or withdraw funds or engage in gambling for the duration of the self-exclusion.
  • Termination of self-exclusion: At the end of the chosen period, the account will automatically be re-activated unless you submit a further self-exclusion request in accordance with this policy.
  • Reactivation when no response is received: If you do not respond within a further twenty‑four (24) hours after being informed of the available periods, your account will be reopened and confirmed by Betmaster via email.

Financial protections and account controls

Betmaster provides tools to enforce financial protections. Users may impose limits on deposits, wagers, and losses, which can be configured in the My Account section at any time. If you exceed any imposed limit, Betmaster may restrict subsequent actions related to that limit.

  • Limit changes: You may set, adjust, or remove limits; higher limits or rapid increases may be subject to additional verification and processing requirements.
  • Limit revocation: Requests to revoke or modify limits or exclusions must be submitted in writing or by electronic notice and Betmaster reserves the right to exercise reasonable discretion in approving or denying such requests.

Promotions and communications

Betmaster will take commercially reasonable steps to ensure that promotional material is not dispatched to customers currently under Time-Out or Self-Exclusion. Betmaster does not guarantee that communications cannot reach excluded accounts if accessed by third parties or if registration details have been altered to bypass protections; Betmaster will nonetheless act to prevent promotions from reaching excluded users where technically feasible.

Reactivation and ongoing obligations

Reactivation after Time-Out or Self-Exclusion occurs automatically at the end of the period, unless Betmaster has documented a different arrangement. You remain responsible for ensuring that your personal data and contact details are accurate and up to date, and you should promptly notify Betmaster of any changes that may affect eligibility or compliance with these provisions.

Assistance and independent support

Betmaster recognises the potential for gambling-related issues and may provide information about independent support services upon request. For immediate assistance related to protective measures, contact Betmaster Customer Support via email or Live Chat.

Data protection and compliance

Betmaster processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws in relation to Time-Out and Self-Exclusion actions, including record-keeping, verification, and operational requirements necessary to implement and manage these protective measures.

Contact details and submission channels

Time-Out requests should be managed within the Account Profile. Self-Exclusion requests must be submitted by electronic mail to Betmaster Customer Support. Confirmation communications will be issued by Betmaster upon completion of the action described above.
